Aggies’ slide is finally over

I guess Texas A&M needed this game to get there season back on track. It’s smallest halftime lead in three weeks was too much for Texas Tech, and the Aggies stopped their two- game losing streak with a 45-40 win. They did it by doing what the Aggies do best. That would be running the football. The biggest highlight of the game came early in the fourth quarter when Texas A&M blocked a field goal and took it to the house. Texas Tech was threatening, but the one big play by the Aggies special teams took the wind out of the crowd. The offense led by Cyrus Gray who rushed for an impressive 218 yards was the star of the game. Texas Tech had no answer for the Aggies running game. Texas Tech (4-0) start was legitimate, but the Red Raiders still won’t sniff the top 25 after the loss. Texas A&M is still better than the number 24 ranking in my opinion. They lost two tough games to two tough teams. Once the Aggies get there feet under them a little bit they should be ok. The worst news of the night was seeing  Tech’s leading rusher Eric Stephens go down. This is a big loss for the Raiders, especially after a tough loss. There is no word on the status of the injury, but it didn’t look good.
