Overall, Electronic Communications was a good class. At times I found myself confused and lost during some of the assignments and projects. This was mainly due to the fact that I had little experience with the assignments and projects that we did in the class. I did have a lot of fun in this class as well, especially when I was able to interview the guy that was in charge of the message board called “The Corral” for Oklahoma State Athletics. I found his information interesting and helpful. I learned a lot in this class and would recommend it to anyone. I learned many things including how to blog, build relationships, make videos, voice record, edit videos, work with photoshop, upload vidoes, podcast, understand what makes a good video, understand what makes a bad video, lighting, color, basics to good picture taking, web designs, youtube advertisements, and many other things that were taught in class. Honestly, I didn’t think I would learn as much as I did, even though I was confused at times and asked a lot of questions. The one thing I learned the most was understanding the importance of the activities that we did in class. In today’s world, media has changed and we are finding new ways to get information to the audience electronically. Without learning some of the activities that we did in class I would be behind in undertanding what media is all about in today’s world. It’s hard to say their is a thing that I would like to have learned more about, considering I am new to all of the information that we learned. I would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in learning more about media in today’s society. This class helped me understand the many aspects that were involved into becoming more involved in the media world.
